Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) and Supply Chain Risk Mgt

Understand the risks of foreign ownership & tech transfer - key factors impacting The DAF SBs & DAF's SCRM efforts. Don't miss out!

Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM):

Date: August 24, 2023 – 1:00pm – 4:00pm (EST)

From investors to employees to customers, there are a lot of people who can influence your business. Most of the time these relationships improve your business, but sometimes these influences can increase risk for your company. In this collider we’ll be discussing risks posed by foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) and technology transfer. FOCI can affect your ability to obtain government contracts, lead to a loss of key personnel, or provide the conduit for unwanted technology transfer.

Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Small Business programs office and Wright Brothers Institute has teamed with the DoD’s Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), Defense Counter-Intelligence Security Agency (DCSA), AFWERX and the Headquarters AFMC Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protections and Nuclear Integration Directorate (AFMC A4/10) to bring you a complete overview of FOCI, how it will be accessed by DCSA, current AFWERX SBIR implementation plan and how it will be integrated into the DAF’s SCRM framework. We are excited to have the event open with remarks from Dr. Lyndon McKown, Deputy Director, HQ AFMC A4/10.

Be ready to be informed and have direct communication with FOCI and SCRM experts across the DoD enterprise. This topic is only going to grow in importance – do not miss this opportunity to be in on the ground floor!
