
A 30 Hour OSHA Construction Training is being offered in partnership with the El Paso Community College - Risk Management Institute free of charge. This training is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. All training will be in person classes at our Mission del Paso campus, 10700 Gateway E., Building C, Rm. 122.

This OSHA 30-Hour Construction class provides training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. It also provides overview information regarding OSHA, including workers’ rights and employer responsibilities. This course is intended for supervisors and persons who need a more comprehensive working knowledge of hazards affecting their workplace. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are most hazardous.
Topics include OSHA Focus Four Hazards: Falls, Electrocution, Struck-by, and Caught-in or between, Confined Space Entry, plus Trenching and Excavations, Scaffolds, Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment, and more.
Upon completion of this course, a wallet card will be issued certifying that the student has completed 30 hours of OSHA training for the Construction Industry.
Registrants must attend all training sessions to receive credit towards their OSHA Card.

Please note, if anyone has a Business Hold with EPCC, their registration form will NOT be processed. All applicants will be notified of the Business Hold. For more information and to take care of the hold, a specific number concerning the type of business hold will be given. Once applicant resolves the hold, please confirm by following up with an email (ggamboa6@epcc.edu) or phone call (915.831.7130) so that we can resubmit the form for processing. It is each person’s responsibility to follow up with their class registration status to ensure registration prior to the start of class.
